Support the Choirs

There are many ways to support the choir program by volunteering your time and talent, but you can also help us with your financial support. Enrolling in the Amazon Smile Program, linking your Kroger card to CHS Choirs, participating in Scrip gift card sales, becoming an “Angel” patron, advertising in programs, or becoming a corporate sponsor.

Amazon Smile

When you shop at Amazon Smile, you’ll find the exact same convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price (0.5%) to the choir program. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages.

To enroll:

  1. On your first visit to Amazon Smile, select the choir program to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping.

  2. Follow remaining directions online.

Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at Amazon Smile will result in a donation. Remember to shop at Amazon Smile to be eligible for the donation.

Recommendation – When you “bookmark” Amazon, actually bookmark Carmel Choirs, where there will be an Amazon Icon. Simply click the icon and it will take you to your Amazon page, where all of your purchases will automatically benefit Carmel Choirs. One extra click of the mouse, easy!

Kroger Community Rewards

All you need to do is link your Kroger Plus Card number to the choir program’s Community Rewards account. Your purchases will begin earning rewards for the organization within 7 to 10 business days of registering your Kroger Plus Card online. You can earn rewards on almost anything, every time you shop. However, there are specific purchases that cannot be included like alcohol, tobacco, some gift cards, etc. See the website for details.

To enroll:

  1. Go to Kroger Rewards. Have your Kroger Plus Card number ready.
  2. Find your organization.

Angel Program

Angel Program

The Carmel Choir “Angel” Program is a way for parents, friends, and community members to financially support the efforts of the department, and to offset the cost for students to participate in choir. Your patronage can be given at various levels, ranging from $50-$1,000. “Angels” are listed in each choir program, and are given other “perks” such as car decals, complimentary tickets, VIP refreshments, and priority parking. The funds earned from this program are used for choir needs such as costumes, choreographer fees, travel, music purchase, and much more. The award-winning Carmel High School Choral Department still has limited advertising available for the 2017-2018 Season Programs. Your advertising dollars will secure a spot in a unique, performance-specific program available at each of our events.

WHY ADVERTISE IN THE CARMEL HIGH SCHOOL CHORAL DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS?

You’ll reach a wide audience! Attendance tops 1000 at every performance. During the course of the season, it is likely that over 10,000 theater-goers and potential clients will see your partnership, commitment, and community support.

  • Our concert programs offer solid marketing exposure for high community visibility; you will be supporting our award winning Carmel High School students.
  • Be a part of the “Holiday Spectacular”. This five performance, family-style, holiday variety show is a holiday tradition in many Carmel households.
  • You can be certain your partnership will get noticed! It is estimated that theater-goers spend on average 11 minutes reading show programs before the performance and 22 minutes reading it after they get home.

Carmel Choir Ovation SCRIP PROGRAM 2017-18

The SCRIP Program is a simple way to earn money for our Carmel Choirs.
It’s a WIN-WIN…
· Supporters buy what they need using money they were planning to spend.
· You receive rebates that help fund the choir program.

BENEFITS
1. Through the “Shop with Scrip” website, parents (and Choir supporters) select, and purchase at face value, gift certificates for companies they typically patronize. The Great Lakes Scrip Center offerings include hundreds of stores ranging from hardware, department, shoe, and grocery stores, to hotels, movies and restaurants.
2. For each purchase, the Ovation account is credited with a “rebate,” a percentage of each cards face value
3. Families receive and use the gift certificates (at their face value) to purchase items.

FORMS OF SCRIP
Although a physical gift card is available from Scrip, it does cost our choir organization $14 for every order mailed. Therefore, we ask you to use the “ScripNow!” and reloadable plastic card form. The ScripNow! option allows you to order online, pay online and then print a “paper” gift certificate. We will plan as an organization to order physical cards periodically throughout the year.

SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT
Please follow these steps:
1. Sign onto: www.shopwithscrip.com
2. Click “Family Sign Up!” green box on the left side of the screen.
3. Complete the required information and click “I Accept.”
4. Select your challenge question #1.
5. Select your challenge question #2.
6. Join a Non-Profit: Enter the Ovation Enrollment Code: E2178DL417588 (use capital letters).
7. It is possible that it might have the old name of Ambassador Club & Accents. The money DOES go to Ovation and ALL CHOIRS.
8. Click “Join.”
9. Manage Non-Profits: Confirm your account is associated with Ovation and click on “Place Order” link.

To set up your PRESTO PAY account, please follow these steps as NO CHECKS will be accepted at this time:
1. Sign onto: www.shopwithscrip.com
2. Log into your account.
3. From the menu on the left side of the screen, click on “PrestoPay.”
4. Read the overview and information regarding “PrestoPay.” If you agree, click on the “Yes, and I agree” button.
5. Enter your banking information. (NOTE: Our SCRIP Coordinator does NOT have access to any of this information.)
6. Click “Next”
**These next Critical Steps must be completed before you are able to use Presto Pay
7. Two random amounts of money will be deposited into your checking in the next 2 business days. Please check your bank account online and make a note of the exact amounts.
8. Once you have the amounts, sign into your “shop with scrip” account and go to the PrestoPay section to enter the amounts and finish the setup of your Presto Pay account.
9. Once you verify your account, you will be sent an email with an approval code. Forward this code to the Scrip Coordinator, Jan Grove, at jangrove@gmail.com to complete the enrollment process and begin using PrestoPay.
NOTE: Your PrestoPay account will not be active until you provide the Approval Code to our Scrip Coordinator.
10. Please Note: There is a $0.15 convenience fee for each order placed and paid through Presto Pay.

HOW IT WORKS FOR PHYSICAL GIFT CARDS
1. Parents set up their own Great Lakes Scrip Center (GLSC) online accounts. Orders can be placed anytime by visiting the SCRIP center website. Payments must be made via a PrestoPay account (set up by the family). NO checks are accepted at this time.
2. Our SCRIP Coordinator designates and communicates a date that by which orders must be placed on the Shop with Scrip website when physical cards are being ordered.
3. On the designated “orders due” date, the SCRIP Coordinator compiles all orders placed by families and submits the order to GLSC.
4. GLSC ships the cards to the SCRIP Coordinator (typically takes about 3 business days for the orders to arrive to the Coordinator).
5. The SCRIP Coordinator receives the gift card order and prepares the family orders for pick-up.
6. NOTE: SCRIP orders must be delivered to ADULTS. Students cannot pick-up pick up SCRIP orders without prior agreement – by email or text – between the parent and the SCRIP Coordinator.
7. Parents/supporters use the gift cards to purchase items they were already planning to buy. Simple and sensible!
