Choirs

The Accents are an advanced, women’s competitive ensemble, performing both show choir and concert choir literature. This ensemble is made up of approximately 40-50 young women of exceptional musical ability, ranging from tenth through twelfth grade.

Allegro is an upper-intermediate ensemble made up of approximately 50-60 young women, ranging from tenth through twelfth grade.

The Ambassadors are an advanced, mixed competitive ensemble, performing both show choir and concert choir literature. This ensemble consists of 40-50 young men and women of exceptional musical ability, ranging from tenth through twelfth grade.

Blue & Gold Company is an intermediate concert choir, made up of approximately 40-60 young men and women, ranging from tenth through twelfth grade.

Counterpoints is a non-auditioned male ensemble, made up of primarily ninth grade students. This ensemble is the first step in a student’s journey through the Carmel Choir Program.

Expressions is a non-auditioned treble ensemble, made up of primarily ninth grade students. This ensemble is the first step in a student’s journey through the Carmel Choir Program.

Greyhound Sound is an extracurricular men’s choir that meets during SRT and performs at most regular choir concerts. This is a non-auditioned ensemble that is open to any interested young men who attend Carmel High School.

New Edition is an intermediate mixed show choir, made up of approximately 50-60 young men and women, ranging from tenth through twelfth grade.

Rhapsody is a developing ensemble, made up of approximately 50-70 young women, ranging from tenth through twelfth grade.

Select Sound is Carmel’s elite acapella ensemble. This group of 16-20 students ranges in age from tenth through twelfth grade.
