Latest Choir News and Announcements

Here are a few important highlights:

1. We have an all-choir parent meeting this Tuesday, August 18 at 7pm in room E157. It is very important to attend, especially if your child is new to the program, or if they are in an advanced level group for the first time. We will be going over the calendar, expectations, grading, performances, fees and fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities.  We would love for all OVATION Reps and Committee Chairs to also be present if possible. We will record the meeting and make the video available in next week’s newsletter for those who cannot attend in person.
   
   
2. All students are required to complete the 26-27 forms by August 26. All forms are linked in the newsletter as well as in their Canvas modules. It is also important that students join the Remind group for their ensemble(s). We encourage parents to join Facebook groups and follow Carmel Choirs on social media as well.
   
   
3. Carmel Choir Spirit Wear is available for purchase until August 30. This is optional, of course, but if students want clothing, yard signs, etc., orders can be placed until August 30th.
   
   
4. Be sure to look at the Ticket Sale information in the newsletter. It provides specific dates for when tickets will go on sale for our performances throughout the year. Our concerts sell out, so we highly encourage everyone to mark these dates on your calendar so that you don’t miss out on your day to purchase the best seats possible.
   
   
5. We have a few private voice teachers who tech on campus during the day. Spots are limited, but if students would like to sign up for lessons during the school day, click here for more.
   
   
6. If you would like to become an OVATION Angel Sponsor, or a Corporate Sponsor for the coming year, information can be found in the newsletter.
   
   
7. The 26-27 performance and rehearsal calendar can be found here.
   
   
8. Tickets for the Accents 50^th Anniversary Show, “Paint the Town Pink”, go on sale on September 1st.
   
   
9. All students need to purchase the required undergarments and performance shoes by September 28th. Details in the newsletter.
